Have you ever considered all the influences that make a character who they are? Environment is very important in shaping personality, but some traits are inborn and would probably influence them in some way no matter how they grew up. The purpose of this exercise is to think of how your character might have turned out if something about their internal or external environment was different. First list details of the character's life that are canon to their back story. In each of the scenarios provided, assume that anything not altered by the scenario would be the same as canon. If a scenario closely matches canon, feel free to skip it. You ca
